The organization shall open a savings or current account in its name at any scheduled bank within the country for conducting financial transactions.
The organization’s bank account shall be operated jointly by the President, General Secretary, and Treasurer. For withdrawals and deposits, the signature of the President along with either the General Secretary or the Treasurer shall be sufficient.
With the consultation of the President and General Secretary, the Treasurer may keep up to BDT 5,000 (Five Thousand Taka) in cash for ongoing expenses. Any expenditure from this cash reserve must be approved at the next Executive Committee meeting.
At the end of the financial year, the organization’s funds or accumulated reserves shall not be distributed among members. Funds may only be used to achieve the organization’s mission, objectives, welfare activities, disaster relief efforts, and support for underprivileged people.
Before spending organizational funds, approval must be obtained through a meeting of the Executive Committee.
Funds collected in the name of the organization must not be kept in hand under any circumstances. All collected funds must be deposited into the designated bank account within 24 hours, and a deposit receipt must be obtained.
All banking transactions shall be conducted in accordance with applicable banking laws, regulations, and policies.
